Successful Launch Dubrovnik Summer School Program, August 5 – 14, 2016

Global Bioethics Initiative in partnership with the University of Zagreb School of Medicine and Inter-University Centre invited students and professionals worldwide to attend Dubrovnik International Bioethics Summer School, August 5-14, 2016 – DIBSS.

Our summer school program brought together brilliant minds from around the world and we welcomed them on August 5th, to the first International Bioethics Summer School Program in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Global Bioethics Initiative’s summer programs are organized annually in Manhattan, NYC and Dubrovnik, Croatia, to inform and educate international participants about controversial issues such as stem cell research, gene therapy, human genetic engineering, ethics of transplantation, narrative medicine, mental illness, euthanasia, and End-of-Life and palliative care among others.

This summer our participants from four continents enjoyed interesting lectures, seminars, a two day conference on the price of health as well as field trips around the Pearl of the Adriatic Sea, Dubrovnik.

Stay tuned for our next summer programs and check out our websites for more details,  www.globalbioethics.org and http://www.dibss.org/.
