GBI Supports an Open Letter to the White House Coronavirus Task Force and U.S. Congress

The Hastings Center, a bioethics think tank, initiated a petition to urge the federal government to develop a more robust and ethical federal response to the pandemic.  It is intentionally focused on what the federal government can do, not the states and health systems.  The aim is to have bioethics faculty, fellows, and graduate students –people with bioethics academic training and/or clinical experience – to apply their ethical values and collective influence to this important aspect of meeting the response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Hastings Center is working diligently behind the scenes to ensure the petition will be read by Congress persons, Congressional staffers, members of the White House Coronavirus Task Force.  GBI gave its support and signed this petition.  Click here for more details!
